Daily journal December 4, 2000, I have painted a David and Goliath painting, snow is melting but the temperature has dropped to 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Back to the mine now to paint and write. Today I have about completed the Bible picture of David and Goliath as David kills the giant Philistine by a single rock in his sling, some of our jobs are easy. As David brought lunch to his brothers in the Israelite Army, he heard this Giant on the hill across the way challenging any Israelite soldier to fight him. David said, I will fight him but his people said no, that he will destroy you. David feeling that God was with him declined the Kings armor and proceeded to cross the brook picking up 5 stones from the broke as he crossed it and proceeded to face the Giant who was insulted by his small size that such a lad would come to fight him. David took one shot with a rock in his sling and cracked the Giants skull at a distance. Remember Nation of Israel what a difference God makes when he is present. May my painting illustrate the impact of this scene of Old Testament times and the trust in God alone. May our government return to true trust in the living God through Christ the Lord. May my heart me right with Almighty God. And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. 44-And the Philistine said to David, come to me, I will give thy flesh unto the fouls of the air and to the beast of the field. 49-And David put his hand in his bag, and took hence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth". Tomorrow I will describe the giant in his power and dress. Now back today. God will judge us as a nation for letting these things go on contrary to His law. The Holy household of God is unmistakable and those that violate the procedure of God shall sure suffer if they do not repent. Israel suffered for letting in the enemy. Bobby Kennedy had made the statement that all nations are religious but that our nations religion is humanism and I agree. Our government is moving deeper into socialism and it does not matter who is president. You have socialism A or socialism B. Be it Republican or Democrat, you have socialism at that. We are a multi religious nation with hundreds of religions but very few God seeking individuals living a Christian life denouncing sin and as pointing people in the direction of eternal life. We have compromised God’s law in the churches spineless authority afraid to preach against sin. Even this machine does not recognize the word sin but instead prints cnn. God help us if the H crimes law is passed. Things are all in reverse with government and there is no vision among the candidates toward true right. I saw this cattle trailer on the interstate being pulled by a pickup truck and the driver looked like a owner operator stacking heifers almost on top of each other on their way to be slaughtered and by day light they will be a hamburger in McDonald’s or Burger King. One of the calves looked me right in the eyes as though to say help me and I would if I could save them. The ultimate revenge is called high blood pressure, diabetes and heart attack. Man will not escape this penalty and it is starting young. Children grow up now gorging on hamburger meat and grow up fat. Every year additives are increased as has now the irradiating of meat after cows are given steroids to grow them fast. When we eat the cows, we get the benefit of all these destructive additives and what does it do to us?
